Space Explorers Year 5 SPRING 2 (2018-2019) Topic: Integrity Our IPC Topic for the second term in Spring 2017 is ‘Space Explorers’ Y5 will be exploring and learning about what the views that people in the past held about the Earth, Sun and Moon? They will study famous scientists like Galileo and appreciate his findings about the Earth, Sun and Moon. They will describe the movement of the Moon relative to the Earth describe the Sun, Earth and Moon as approximately spherical bodies use the idea of the Earth’s rotation to explain day and night and the apparent movement of the sun across the sky.
