Fashion Design Sketching Creating Your Own Clothing Label

You will sketch one outfit for the following for a total of four outfits. Woman Spring/Summer Fall/Winter Formal Man Your Choice

All designing must be done in pencil and all coloring must be done in color pencils….. no exceptions!

Step 1 Pick a fashion croquis for each category listed above and 4 pieces of white paper. Step 2 Trace each croquis LIGHLTY on a piece of white paper. So light that, you can barely see it. Don’t trace the “clothes” they are wearing, just the outline of their body.

Step 3 Design and sketch (in pencil) an outfit for each croquis. Color each croquis using color pencils. NO markers!

CHECK POINTS Croquis Traced – 11/16Mon 1st two sketches - 11/18Wed 2nd two sketches - 11/20Fri 1st completed – 11/30 Mon 2nd completed - 12/1 Tues 3rd completed – 12/2 Wed 4th completed - 12/3 Thurs Cut, glue, LOGO- 12/4 Friday

Only glue on the edges! Step 5 Step 6 Mount drawings to construction paper. Only glue on the edges! PRINT first & last name and period neatly on the BACK of each piece of construction paper in INK. -5 points   Step 6 Turn in. If using 2 pieces of construction paper, both pages TOGETHER.

Erase marks and lines 10points – Trace and sketch LIGHTLY Points Per Croquis Erase marks and lines 10points – Trace and sketch LIGHTLY Outline 10 points – Do this AFTER coloring using a darker color than outfit. Can be thin point marker. Coloring 30 points – All 1 direction, color solid, inside the lines. ************************************************  Company logo 20 points – Design your own logo.
