Writing Choose a writing prompt from the March writing calendar Math IXL Review place value study guide (attached to newsletter) Math: Place Value/Shapes We will review place value by reading and writing numbers to 1,000, skip counting by 5s, 10s, and 100s within 1,000, and comparing two 3-digit numbers using <, >, and =. We will also learn how to identify 2-D shapes. Spelling Choose an activity from the March challenge board S.O.S with weekly words – buy, eight, own Writing: Informational Writing We will write an informative/explanatory text that introduces a topic, uses facts and definitions to develop points, and provides a concluding statement or section.
