Interested in some REAL Drama???? You know . . . The kind that REALLY happened!

Try some HISTORICAL FICTION! Its true – fact is stranger than fiction Need proof ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Think that Thomas Jefferson was a boring stuffed shirt? WRONG!

Welcome to the world of historical fiction! Did you know? Thomas Jefferson did not believe slavery was right, yet he owned slaves. It was rumored that Thomas Jefferson fathered children by a slave named Sally Hemmings. Wolf By the Ears is their story! Of course, not all rumors are documented . . . Welcome to the world of historical fiction!

We Know this much is true . . . Sally Hemings' children were light-skinned, and three of them (daughter Harriet and sons Beverly and Eston) lived as members of white society as adults. According to contemporary accounts, some of Sally Hemings' children strongly resembled Thomas Jefferson. Thomas Jefferson freed all of Sally Hemings' children: Beverly and Harriet were allowed to leave Monticello in 1822; Madison and Eston were released in Jefferson's 1826 will. Jefferson gave freedom to no other nuclear slave family. Thomas Jefferson did not free Sally Hemings. She was permitted to leave Monticello by his daughter Martha Jefferson Randolph not long after Jefferson's death in 1826.

Now let your imagination take over . . . HMMMMMMMMMM

Want to know more of the “inside story”? Inquiring minds want to know . . . I want to know!
