Screenwriting

Screenwriting is a freelance profession No education is required to become a professional screenwriter, just good storytelling abilities and imagination. What separates a professional screenwriter from an amateur screenwriter is that professional screenwriters are usually represented by a talent agency. Also, professional screenwriters do not often work for free.

Screenwriting is a freelance profession There is a legion of would-be screenwriters who attempt to enter the film industry but it often takes years of trial-and- error, failure, and gritty persistence to achieve success.

Logline1 A logline is the short blurb in TV guides that tells you what a movie is about and helps you decide if you're interested in watching it. It's a movie's concept boiled down to one or two sentences.

Logline2 A logline is a one-sentence summary of your script. It's a one- or two-sentence description of the overall idea of the story.
