Students should NOT use translation programs, website or apps. Students are expected to sign up for class notifications via Remind either with their cellphones or email address. Written work requirements: All written work must be completed in blue ink, black ink or pencil. Students will be required to redo assignments that fail to meet these requirements. Assignments, tests, quizzes, compositions, projects, etc. without names will be discarded. Late assignments will only be accepted for 50% credit unless a student has gone to tutoring or received a written extension from the teacher.

There is NO extra credit. Mesa Public Schools Grading Scale: A = 100-90, B = 89-80, C = 79-70, D = 69-60, F = 0-59 Semester Grades: cumulative weighted grade: The course work grade is based on the following weighted categories: 50% summative/proficiency assessments (what you can do on the fly with the language) 40% formative/performance assessments 10% practice activities Retakes: Students can do retakes of tests and quizzes. Retakes must be done within one week of receiving the test or quiz back. Students must fill out a purple “Request to Retake” form. There are no retakes of proficiency assessments. There is NO extra credit.
