Linking curriculum learning to careers 5. Encounters with employers and employees 6. Experiences of workplaces 7. Encounters with further and higher education 8. Personal guidance

Supporting your schools to meet the new standards Benchmark 1: A stable careers programme Structure the careers programme, Quality in Careers, student feedback Benchmark 2: Learning from career and labour market information Up-to-date careers information and LMI, access to information at parents events, presentations and group sessions, newsletter inputs Ask staff to provide the title of each benchmark (will help with learning)

Supporting your schools to meet the new standards Benchmark 3: Addressing the needs of each student Independent IAG, tailored action plans, specialist support for students who have SEND, motivational interviewing, tracking destinations Benchmark 4: Linking curriculum learning to careers Linking with STEM employers or other organisations to support school, using Careers Companion, NCS website etc, being aware of useful resources
