CONTENT Background : 6th ICA Meeting (Tunis2010) AU 2011 key messages Conclusion

I - BACKGROUND (1) Recommendation for African Stakeholders: A strong commitment of RECs and Member States to ensure the same priority and avoid redundancy and duplications (synergy objective) PIDA ownership by African Stakeholders is requested Capacity Building and training activities should be immediately engaged to better accompany programmes implementation

I - BACKGROUND (2) Recommendation for Development Partners: A strong support for the implementation of Africa infrastructure development initiatives; Bring assistance for capacity building. The AU Summit Declarations should be inserted in the ICA road map

III - CONCLUSION The African Stakeholders are expecting a strong involvement of Development Partners in the implementation of the PIDA priority action plan that will be soon delivered.
