Arriva Rail North Arriva Trains Wales Chiltern On Time Champions Introduction of Seasonal Improvement Manager Joint Control Room GPS Timetable validation Delay App Performance Alliance Arriva Trains Wales Tiger Team During Q2 a joint ATW and NR project was launched with a team that were seconded for 4 weeks to investigate why reactionary delays and PPM impact has increased disproportionally to primary delays and PPM. 20 recommendations were produced. Highlights are: - The implementation of joint ATW and NR service recovery and disruption management plans/procedures. - Competency Management System for Resources - Alterations to Automatic Route Setting Parameters - Full Linking of Traincrew for Special Events - Formal and Structured Training for Control and Resources Chiltern Joint Network Rail and TOC event at Westwood in early December Purpose of the event: Help everyone involved in front line delivery in Network Rail and Chiltern Railways to understand the significance of the 11 December 2016 launch of train services to Oxford Communicate progress of our Performance Summit Pledges – and set the challenge about what more we can do collaboratively together to achieve continuous improvement Raise an understanding of the railway as a “system” – sharing knowledge about the skills and experience of specialist teams in each company – and how we can work better together to improve outcomes for passengers
