Caster Wheels Caster wheels can be used to make your robot turn more easily. Caster wheels auto-matically turn in the direction of motion. Caster wheels are found on everything from shopping carts to office chairs. Robotics Academy 2002. All Rights Reserved.

Caster Wheels This tricycle robot has a fixed wheel in the front. It doesn’t turn very well because of the friction between the tire and the ground. The robot with the caster wheel turns much easier because the friction is eliminated. Robotics Academy 2002. All Rights Reserved.

Caster Wheels Here are some designs for caster wheels. Robotics Academy 2002. All Rights Reserved.
