What’s New? Self Service Online Portal The new UCPath employee and manager self service portal allows you to view paychecks and other information, including the ability to provide updates to your personal data such as: Name, home and mailing addresses, phone number, personal email address Emergency contacts Honors, degrees, licenses, certifications Ethnicity Military Status Disability Status

What can an employee do in UCPath?

Changes from UCPath Can access UCPath by work/personal computers and mobile devices UCPath Center in Riverside New shared services organization supporting all UC locations Manage routine benefits, personnel and payroll activities Transition to a composite benefit rate (CBR) for charging benefit costs – replaces current practice of charging actual benefit costs Simplifies budgeting and planning Provides consistency and reduces administrative costs

UCPath Center UCPath Center Ask UCPath Center – Help Request Tool A shared services center where payroll, benefits, and HR services will be managed for all UC employees . The UCPath Center coordinates across relevant departments and units, as needed and tracks the resolution process through closure. Ask UCPath Center – Help Request Tool Have questions about your payroll, benefits, or other HR questions? You can visit the UCPath portal and click on the ‘Ask UCPath Center’ feature.

What’s Changing? New employee ID numbers UCPath replaces our Payroll System (PPS-Payroll and Personnel System) Staff recruitment will be transitioned from Greentree to Talent Acquisition Manager(TAM) part of UCPath Paychecks and benefits will be available in the new employee portal replacing AYSO All jobs will have a unique position number PAN notices will be replaced by an in system approval process before the transaction is finalized in the system Each division will determine # of required approvers in the system – 1 or 2

* *Exception: Employees will continue to access AYSO for e.g., retirement information, to update beneficiaries, and to access previous years W-2’s

Paycheck Information Paper paychecks will no longer be available for pick up at central payroll or department offices. Paychecks sent by mail are issued on pay date and take additional time to arrive at employee’s home address by US mail.

What’s Not Changing? Your employee information will carry over into UCPath, including direct deposit and benefits information. Time Reporting System (TRS) will continue to be used for entering time At Your Service Online (AYSO) will be retained only for retirement beneficiary information Faculty/Academic recruitment system will not change
