Independent Study Using DocSigning

Docusign Purpose It is easier to monitor district wide It takes away some of the “chasing” for signatures It provides an automatic daily reminder. You can incorporate links. It is legible Growth opportunities

Step 1: A parent requests IS for more than 10 days (we are asking for two weeks in advance, however the handbook states 1 week) 1 Step 2: The attendance secretary (Joline) will email me to set up the contract. 2 Step 3: I will set up the contract with all the required signatures: 3 How it works

How it works- What you see Step 4: You will get an email that looks like” Step 5: The Email

How it works- what you see Step 6- Click continue to access the document

How it works- what you see Step 7- each person has a different highlighted section to fill out. It will only let you fill out the section that pertains to you.

How it works- What you see Once you have entered all your fields this will be in the upper right hand corner: Click finish Note- if you have not filled in all your parts it will not allow you to finish.

Final Product

Upon return You will as you have always done: Notes: The student will turn in the work to the teachers, once you have graded it your give it to Joline and she will tally the % of work done and determine the % of days of attendance for IS. Notes: If a student returns after the contract data, although we do not get the ADA the student can still turn in the work for credit. Upon return

Questions?

Sometimes things happen… Emergencies such as a death, injury or illness may constitute and “emergency IS”, when this happens I will note it in the email. In rare cases a paper copy might still be used (the internet is down) for example. We appreciate you flexibility.
