Simon is killed by the boys The Lord of the Flies tells Simon that “They will all do you, see? The Lord of the Flies names the boys who will kill him… "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life.“ Matthew 17:22

Simon helps to build shelters Ralph complains to Jack that the only one helping him to build the 3 shelters is Simon. "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you Matthew 17:4

The real beast is within us all Simon says the beast is within humans, and the boys laugh at him. Simon tries to tell the boys about good and evil, but they don’t believe him. For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.' The parachutist is then allowed to go freely upwards with the wind and later land in the sea where he is washed away with the tide.
