Throwing Some Back We reclaimed 14.0.0.0/8 with the X.25 operator community in 2007 We have been working with ARIN & the IESG on returning smaller blocks this year, including 192.0.48.0/20 192.0.64.0/18 parts of 192.0.0.0/19 Aug 2009 5

Reverse DNS Management Working with the RIRs’ technical staff on a new automated system for reverse DNS management Includes provisions for securely accepting DNSSEC delegation material from RIRs signing reverse domains Systems entered beta testing at the end of July Aug 2009 6

DNSSEC in the Root Working with various groups on an interim mechanism for DNSSEC in the DNS root later this year The ITAR will remain available until a permanent mechanism is agreed and deployed 16 Aug 2009 7
