Orthogonal partial least-squares discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) plot for LC-MS/MS metabolite features. Orthogonal partial least-squares discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) plot for LC-MS/MS metabolite features. Rabbit offspring were exposed to either vehicle or BPA for 15 days during gestation, and liver, colon mucosa, and serum samples were collected at 6 weeks of age. Data represent OPLS-DA results for (A) colon metabolites (R2Y = 0.96 and Q2 = 0.81), (B) liver metabolites (R2Y = 0.97 and Q2 = 0.69), and (C) serum metabolites (R2Y = 0.71 and Q2 = 0.33) of control rabbit pups (n = 13) and BPA rabbit pups (n = 9 to 11). R2Y and Q2 values should be higher than 0.5 for good OPLS-DA models. Lavanya Reddivari et al. mSystems 2017; doi:10.1128/mSystems.00093-17
