Year 10 GCSE Science Revision Mon 21st May Tues 22nd May Weds 23rd May Thurs 24th May Fri 25th May Sat 26th May Sun 27th May Science Mock Exams Chem – LOOK, COVER, WRITE CHECK – learn the definitions of element compound and mixture (10 mins) Phys – Draw up a table of the physical quantities in the equation sheet. Headings – Name; Symbol; Unit. (10 mins) Write out every equation rearranged so that each of the quantities is the subject. (20 mins) Chem – make a poster of the 4 separation techniques (filtration distillation, evaporation, chromatography) (20 mins) Biol – Create an info poster on cells. Include all the parts and functions of animal and plant cells. Also mention levels of organisation. (40mins) Biol – Draw up a table of specialised cells. Headings: Cell, Adaption, function. (20mins) Phys – Write out a method to investigate how current changes with voltage for a component. Draw the circuit diagram for a resistor; bulb and diode.
