One Point Perspective GRADE 8 ART
LINE Line is a mark with greater length than width. Lines can be horizontal, vertical, diagonal, straight, curved, thick, or thin.
SPACE Space is the area between and around objects. Space can refer to the feeling of depth. Real space is three- dimensional. In visual art when we can create the feeling or illusion of depth, we call it space.
What is One-Point Perspective? One-Point Perspective is present when there is one vanishing point where all lines of the picture branch out from or branch into.
DEPTH Depth is having the quality of being deep, whether backwards, inwards, upwards, or downwards.

PERSPECTIVE Perspective is the technique used to represent a three-dimensional world (what we see) on a two-dimensional surface (piece of paper) in a way that looks real and accurate. Perspective is used to create an illusion of space and depth on a flat surface.
