ASPBAE Leadership 2009

Irina Razilova razilova@dvv-international.uz The top photo is illustrated the one of dvv international project “Oral History Centre” and the other photo is about another project: “Almanac of Uzbekistan”. Both projects are implemented in the framework of “History and Identification” Theme. The focus in this projects – the principle of realizing history through personal perceptions of eyewitnesses of events. Each nation is learning lessons from the past, harsh and heavy, bright and memorable days, historical tribulations and achievements. “Оral History” stands for tape-recorded recollections of people about their lives and events in the past, which they witnessed. Workshops and seminars were organised which have been attended by university professors, students, retirees, and scientists. In 2009 was organised the Regional Academy of Adult Education “Oral History – a Source for Self Identity and National Building” attended by representatives of countries in Central Asia and the Caucasus. Next steps: Creation of Centre “Oral History” Publication Almanac in Uzbek, Russian and German languages Position: project coordanator in dvv international, Tashkent Responsibilities: coordinating projects, fundraising, visibility. Main principles of our organisation: Youth and Adult Education – is the major education component, which plays a key role in vocational, cultural and scientific continuous education as well as in the process of Lifelong Learning; Educational programs providing youth and adults with vital skills, which complement  formal education and learning; Strengthening the potential of partners in Youth and Adult Education, supporting the establishment of sustainable and efficient social structures as a condition for growth in prosperity; Lobbying of the ideas of Youth and Adult Education and Lifelong Learning. I look forward to learn more about methods of adult education and have discussion from other participants about their experiences and have also networking . ASPBAE Leadership 2009
