Timeline: Overview Checkpoint #1: Tuesday, December 11th (pg. 10) Proposed Problem Checkpoint #2: Thursday, January 10th (pg. 9) Research & completed annotated bibliography Due Date: Tuesday, January 29th Completed journal & display board Students will present their project in class Terra Vista Expo Night: Thursday, January 31st Families are invited to view everyone's projects Students will stand by their project and answer questions District Science Fair: Monday, February 11th

Next Step: research Checkpoint #2 (pg. 9) 10 Facts & Annotated Bibliography Students will need to find at least 3 resources Books: You can use the school or public library to find these. Websites: Find reliable websites that support your research and topic. Think .edu, .org, & .gov Use Easy Bib to cite your sources as part of your annotated bibliography. An example is on (pg. 7)

District Science Fair 2-3 projects will be selected from Terra Vista to move on to the district Science Fair In order to move on projects must… Have originality Every element completed and turned in on time 3 trials documented in the journal and on the display board There will be over 150 science projects, only 2-3 will be chosen to go to the district level.
