What is a Circle? A circle is defined as… The set of all points in a plane that are equidistant from a given point called the center point.

Basic Parts of a Circle Interior of a Circle Exterior of a Circle

. Center of a Circle It’s the point right in the center. Every point on a circle is exactly the same distance away from it.

Segments of a Circle Chord – a segment whose endpoints are on the circle
