CHANGES THAT AFFECT US Traffic Changes in the Mine Before After File No: LU001 Date Issued: 21st December 2012 Description: Road changes are currently being undertaken at PODs/Luce Basin short cut intersection affecting traffic flows. The changes include widening of the intersection, and installation of a dividing berm in the middle of the road for the addition of a third cable standard Reason for Change: This area is congested with cables crossing the road from the sub 23 area. The cable standard set up “squeezed” the road creating a hazard for hauling traffic Justification: Provide loaded haul traffic with a wider running surface to ensure empty traffic from PODs/Luce East is not forced to stop Before After Please proceed with caution in this area
