President pop up activity (Yes, this is the absolute last grade for the year) (Yay!!!) (No more grading for Mrs. DeTurk!!!!)

Handout Mrs. DeTurk will provide you a template of a pop up with several places for writing. Label the boxes- Top Left-Life Information-Date of Birth/Death, Education (College?), Career before presidency. Top Right-The Election-What political party was he, who did he run against, what was the result (percentage), and what # president did he become. Bottom Left-Legacy-What were a few accomplishments your president achieved, how many terms did your president serve. Bottom Right-Interesting Facts-Include 3 interesting facts about your president. Make them interesting and not boring. The boxes are tiny, so plan it out on paper before you fill in the boxes. In the large box on the bottom, summarize why your president is important to learn about. Needs 5 sentences or more……. The figure on the left needs to be colored and drawn as your president. (Do your best)

Cutting out your president Cut out the outline of the boxes where the scissor’s are. Be super careful where you cut. You will not get another one. Anywhere the dotted line is, you bend. Cut out and attach the person in the center, so when you open it-the person pops up.
