Consultation Timeline & Considerations Initial door-knocking: November-December 2018 First drop-in consultation: 13th December 2018 Update leaflets to be distributed after each consultation event Further door-knocking to be considered Elim Estate Development Leathermarket Community Benefit Society

Feedback from Door-Knocking 52 residents engaged during door-knocking by Jane and Rachel – nearly half of all Estate residents (as of 4th December) 45/52 (87%) were supportive or unconcerned about development on the Estate Elim Estate Development Leathermarket Community Benefit Society

Feedback from Door-Knocking: Ball Court Site Only 10 residents or their children use the ball court themselves 8 didn’t know where it was Seasonal variation in usage Most residents support development on the site if community/recreational space is re-provided 84% of those who said the ball court is used regularly were also supportive of or unconcerned about development Elim Estate Development Leathermarket Community Benefit Society

Feedback from Door-Knocking: Garages 8 let to JMB residents 6 let to Elim residents All used for storage, 2 Elim residents use for parking Several residents mentioned a high demand for garages Few to no concerns about this site from those who don’t lease garages Elim Estate Development Leathermarket Community Benefit Society

Feedback from Door-Knocking: Key Concerns Importance of community space, primarily for youth Interest in indoor space for all seasons Need for community space that serves older residents as well Questions about accessibility for local youth (location of re-provision) Parking Density and environment/greenery Elim Estate Development Leathermarket Community Benefit Society

Feedback from Door-Knocking: Parking Capacity Most concerns about parking focused on how the loss of the garages would affect parking across the rest of the Estate 8/11 garages are primarily used for storage – no significant impact on Estate parking Existing parking bays could be preserved Rationalising existing bin stores could create additional spaces Elim Estate Development Leathermarket Community Benefit Society
