Industrial Action Possibility of industrial action on 30 November 2011 Any scheme member who is on strike will lose 1 days pension scheme membership / service Unless they elect to pay additional contributions at 16% of pay for this day Pay cut - must take place after 1 April 2008
Industrial Action Staffordshire County Council Payrolls will take the extra strike deduction by default from employees who participate Employers not using SCC payroll services will need to make a policy decision on this Pay cut - must take place after 1 April 2008
Industrial Action Two alternative elections forms for employees available on the SPF employers web site: PEN TD 1 (Default) – Employer takes contribution by default If an employee does not want contributions deducted automatically they must complete and return to Pension Services PEN TD1 A – For employers who ask their employees to make an election to pay additional strike pension contributions Pay cut - must take place after 1 April 2008
Industrial Action Both forms will be supplied as “on screen” versions Employers will need to add their name and address details before uploading to their own intranets Pay cut - must take place after 1 April 2008
