Mob Mentality What is Mob Mentality? Mob Mentality:Herd mentality, or mob mentality, describes how people are influenced by their peers to adopt certain behaviors, follow trends, and/or purchase items. Examples of the herd mentality include stock market trends, superstition, home décor, etc Each individual group will receive a case study explaining one hypothesis as to why mob mentality occurs. Using this information you will fill out the following provided on the board. Then, your group will device an explanation as to how the Salem Witch Trial occurred, referring to The Crucible, one Mather writing, and 3 experiments. In a group format, we will discuss how the man-made disaster of the Salem Witch Trials could occur.
