Change Leadership The Case for Change 1 The Children Society is a social justice organisation dedicated to fighting injustice and preventing harm. We believe that too many children and families fail to or are unable to flourish in Greater Manchester. We believe that some things need to change to make this happen: Better Value for Money Improved Services Transformed Systems Developed Community Capacity & Capability We believe that we need to be ambitious for children and families.

Change Leadership We have strengths and assets to bring Our Experience 2 We have strengths and assets to bring We value consistent, trusting relationships We often are trapped in an endless cycle of assessment, form filling and signposting. We want services that are responsive, personalised and actually listen and help us Families and carers often say

Change Leadership Our role 3 The Children Society has supported the development of the New Delivery Model, alongside GMCVO to improve the life chances of children and families in greater Manchester by: Providing partnership engagement & perspective Building the Outcomes Framework- ensuring consistency GM Helping shape the initial catalogue of interventions Championing the role of the sector and linking to practice Ensuring children and families are at the heart
