What part of it lasts forever? Defining Stewardship Stewardship = management, wise use of the resources according to the authority of the owner: Where does it come from? Who owns it? How did I get it? How long does it last? What part of it lasts forever? What is the goal of wealth? How we conduct money is our service to the kingdom.

INTRODUCTION OF THE STORY: I Cor 4:2 and I Peter 4:10 We should be concerned about REPUTATION in our employ: “what is this I hear about you” (vs.2) We can suffer loss because of UNFAITHFULNESS: “you can no longer be manager” (vs.2b)

JESUS MAKES THREE APPLICATIONS TO HIS DISCIPLES: 1. It’s all about the kingdom: (vs.8,9) "And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting" (Luke 18:29-30).

JESUS MAKES THREE APPLICATIONS TO HIS DISCIPLES: It’s all about the Integrity: (vs.10-12) Faithfulness has nothing to do with value or amount. Jesus defines wealth and true riches; It’s all about the management of another’s resources that defines you.
