Museums in Lincolnshire 2016-17 Summary: 24 Lincolnshire museums in the Accreditation scheme in 2016/17 13 Accredited museums responded to the MDEM survey 2 non-Accredited museums responded to the MDEM survey 193,576 visits to Lincolnshire museums in 2016/17 Visits helped contribute an estimated £2,478,554 to the Lincolnshire economy 6,468 participants were engaged by museums through formal learning and outreach 2,955 participants were engaged by museums through informal activities and events 522 volunteers contributed 95,870 hours to museums, which was worth almost £700,000 38 people were in paid employment in museums in Lincolnshire in 2016/17 Image: Heckington Windmill, Lincolnshire Figures based on data from 54% (13) of museums within the Accreditation scheme and 2 non-Accredited museums.
