If you need another copy, please contact the office. Bus behavior – Please make sure your child knows the bus rules: 1. Students must be seated on the bus at all times when the bus is moving. 2. Hands and all objects must be inside the windows.   3. Students may not move seats at bus stops. 4. No throwing any objects on the bus.  5. No eating or drinking. 6. No screaming. Mrs. Wells, our PE teacher, went over these rules the first week of school. The number one offense for students at Mays Elementary is not remaining seated while the bus is moving. This is a huge safety concern. Please make sure that your child understands that standing while the bus is moving will result in a bus referral. The first bus referral is a warning and the following referrals result in bus suspensions. We want all students to be safe while riding the bus. Thank you for your help in keeping students safe. Extra Clothes Please make sure that your child has an extra change of clothes in their locker. We usually experience an accident sometime during the school year and want to make sure that your child can quickly get back to class. This is also very helpful when we spill something on our clothes at lunch. School Shirts and Apparel Don’t forget to turn in your order form for shirts. The items will be ordered September 25 and will take approximately 2 weeks to be delivered. We are also selling jackets/coats with our Troy logo embroidered on the jackets. This flyer went home last week. The deadline for placing an order is Friday the 11th. Again if you are interested in purchasing items, please complete the order form and return with your payment.
