Key Question Does technology hold the answers to solve the problem of resource consumption and use?

Can technology help? Technology has a certain ability to help the worlds decreasing supply of resources, we have already seen what the Ford Edge can do. But how far can technology go??? Turn to p163 in Evolving Planet.
