House hunters

These are the options

Top ten things/ conditions No smoking Wi-Fi 2 bedrooms Clean Updated Quiet Separate entrance Separate washer and dryer Pets allowed Close to stores

House 800$ a month It has three fully furnished rooms It comes with all the amenities Separate entrance No smoking But there's no pets

Basement Suit 700$ per month Two bedrooms Wi-Fi Cable Utilities included Close to BCIT, SFU and Douglas college Private entrance Own parking spot Private laundry machines

Apartment $1610 per month The rent is to high and no pets and there is not two bed rooms and it does not have all amenities included and no separate washer and dryer

Why we chose the basement suite We found that the basement was the better option because wifi, cable and all the utilities are included. The basement suite also has nine out our top ten things we were looking for including two bedrooms, a separate entrance, and our own private laundry machines.

Why we didn’t choose the House Apartment The house had seven out of our top ten things, it also had three rooms. Unless we can find another roommate that extra room is going to sit there. Although the apartment is close to a lot of restaurants and stores the rent was $200 out of our budget and $1601 is a lot of money per month.
