Topic 3: Input & Output Devices Year 8 ICT Topic 3: Input & Output Devices Imagine that you have to teach Year 7 students about the different Input and Output Devices. Create a POSTER that describes four different input / output devices e.g. keyboard, mouse, microphone, camera, monitor, printer, speakers, projector. NOTE: your poster must include an image of each device, along with a caption explaining what it is used for and whether it is and input or output device. This must be written using your own words. Poster Title: Input and Output Devices You may use either WORD, Publisher or PowerPoint to create your poster Challenge: Easy Reward: 1 – 4 HPs Challenge: Medium Reward: 5 – 8 HPs Imagine that you have to teach Year 7 students about Specialist Input and Output Devices. Create a PRESENTATION that explains the purpose of four different specialist input / output devices e.g. puff-suck switch, braille keyboard, foot mouse, eye typer, braille printer. NOTE: your presentation must include a suitable image of each device, along with an explanation of what it is used for and whether it is an input or an output device (written using your own words). Presentation Title: Specialist Input and Output Devices You will need to use POWERPOINT to create your presentation Challenge: Hard Reward: 9 – 12 HPs Imagine that you have to teach Year 7 students about how Input and Output Devices work. Choose four of the input / output devices and create a PRESENTATION that explains in detail how each one works e.g. keyboard, mouse, digital camera, printer, scanner, eye typer. NOTE: your presentation should include an explanation of the difference between input and output devices, along with an image of each device, whether it is input or output, a description of the purpose and a detailed explanation of how it works. This must be written using your own words. Presentation Title: Input & Output Devices & How They Work (Advanced) You will need to use POWERPOINT to create your presentation
