OUTLINES ANALYSIS OF HYDROGRAPHIC FEATURES THROUGH THE BOX 2. ANALYSIS OF VOLUME TRANSPORT

TOPIC Calculating Volume/Mass Transports by using CTD data through the Box which is shown on the next slide.

LINE 3 LINE 2 LINE1

METHOD Geostrophic Method was used in analysis: First, geopotential anomalies for each station were calculated. Second, the geostrophic velocities between stations were calculated with respect to deepest cast in each station. Finally, total volume transport calculated by using geostrophic velocities.
