Mass Mass: the measurement of How Much matter is in an object Units = grams (kg  mg)

Weight is defined as the force of gravity on an object Weight is defined as the force of gravity on an object. Your weight can change if the force of gravity changes. Ex: 100 lbs on Earth = 16.5 lbs on the moon (6x less gravity on the moon) Ex: 100 kg on Earth = 100 kg on the moon (mass is not affected by gravity)
