I. Moral Object A. “What is happening” B. The most important when deciding an issue’s morality C. Your acts must promote the true good or they are wrong D. Conform to accepted norms of morality

II. Intention A. Why it is happening B. The motivation behind an action The ends do not justify the means Keep the intention good

III. Circumstances A. The “Who, when, where, and how” of a situation B. These facts are secondary C. They are not important enough to make a situation that is immoral moral, and vice versa
