Did You Eat All the Cracklin Oat Bran? Isaiah 6:1-8

Look at the question of God in verse 8

Isaiah’s Vision The Scene: Temple of God (probably Praying) The Setting: Private (only Isaiah saw the Vision) The Significance: (Year the King died) II Chronicles 26: 16-21 II Chronicles 27: 1-2 (to Prepare Isaiah)

Isaiah’s Vision His service – vs. 8 “here am I, send me” The Sequence: He saw God’s Holiness – vs. 1-4 Which reminded him of… His Unworthiness – vs. 5 Which reminded him of… God’s Cleansing – vs. 6-7 Which led him to…. His complete Dedication – vs. 8 Which led him to… His service – vs. 8 “here am I, send me”

Have you been intentionally ignoring the question? Have you been too afraid to answer the question? Have you been too embarrassed to answer the question?

The question is not are you willing to go, but rather Notice The question is not are you willing to go, but rather Who will go?

8 Billion souls in the World 5.5 Million full Time Christian Workers Each Full Time Christian Worker would be responsible to win 1,454 souls to win the world. 2.9 Billion Christians in the World Each Christian winning 4 souls would win the world for Christ

Why would people say No to God’s question? It could be that you’re not a Christian – Hebrews 11:6 It could be that you are backslidden and cold spiritually It could be that you started and got discouraged
