Objective: Students will investigate the cause and effects of the Vietnam war and be able to link it to the overarching themes of a surrogate war and the Cold war as measured through their Cornell notes, lyric analysis, and exit slip.

Rise of the Vietminh A group that was seeking independence for Vietnam from France Led by Ho Chi Minh Forced Japanese out of Vietnam in 1945
