Agenda Review 2010 data from associations Finalize on WSC Goal proposal based on inputs from all associations Finalize projections for 2010-2020 Finalize on “Best Practices” and next steps Finalize on External NER document Draft status report for WSC Many notes on 3rd party…do we need standard WSC practice? How does KSIA cap and trade reductions compare to wanting to move away from absolute reduction and to NER? How will they be measured by government? Economic value through normalization (economic value vs area) – should be same as QT Do we need to prepare a short statement for interpretation of data?

PFC WG Objectives Review 2010 data and progress on 2010 goal Project Update All associations were able to provide data for 2010 There are some small remaining gaps to close before final All associations met goal of at least 10% below baseline levels by 2010 Total WSC emissions are estimated to be 33% below baseline levels Including China, without adding to baseline, WSC is still 5% below baseline levels

PFC WG Objectives Finalize 2020 WSC Goal Project Update Goal finalized by all associations Implementation of “Best Practices” by all companies in WSC Inclusion of “Rest of World” fabs These actions project to result in a 30% NER reduction from 2010 - 2020

PFC WG Internal Reporting All associations will continue to report absolute emissions and production data All associations will report “Rest of World” emissions and production data Internal review of data will include total WSC trends on an absolute and NER basis Individual association trends will also continue to be reviewed Associations agree to develop a list of factories that report emissions to the association and “Rest of World” This will help validate that we are not double counting emissions and to understand trends through new fabs and closures

PFC WG External Reporting Report should include status on the implementation of Best Practices Provide aggregate results of absolute PFC emissions trend Provide aggregate results of NER trend and relative target (30% below 2010 NER value)

Next Steps Finalize 2010 data and verify analysis for 2020 goal – March Finalize WSC voluntary agreement for 2020 goal – Finalize by April Distribute draft for WSC PFC WG by beginning of March Finalize WSC communication document on achievements and justification for 2020 program – Finalize by April Many notes on 3rd party…do we need standard WSC practice? How does KSIA cap and trade reductions compare to wanting to move away from absolute reduction and to NER? How will they be measured by government? Economic value through normalization (economic value vs area) – should be same as QT Do we need to prepare a short statement for interpretation of data?
