AMPLIFY- Science courseware We have implemented a science curriculum program that focuses on the Next Generation Science Standards It is the third year for 6th and 7th grade

AMPLIFY- Science courseware iPad/computer based program The students will be using their iPads/Chromebooks in class every day. Extremely important that they come to class with their own charged iPad/Chromebook.

AMPLIFY- Science courseware The curriculum is based on real-life science with real world applications It is based on the Next Generation Science Standards. It is a total change in thinking about science education.

AMPLIFY Teaching the WHY …not the WHAT

3D teaching and Learning SCIENCE Math and Engineering English Language Arts

AMPLIFY Teaching differently means we need to grade differently

What will students need to bring to class? CHARGED iPAD or Chromebook Folder Pens/pencils Earbuds (optional) Most work will now be turned in digitally…we will use a notebook very infrequently

What do I do if My child is absent? Check their Canvas Calendar Have them try to do the lesson that is assigned for that day…if they can’t do it on their own, then we will have to make arrangements for them to do it with me during Win, Study Hall or before/ after school.
