Authority Data Usage to Support New LAUC Initiative? John Riemer CMCKG January 8, 2018
Library as Interdisciplinary Meeting Place for Faculty Could our Library play a role in introducing faculty to each other Identifying their research interests? Sharing their recent publications? When our AUL for IT was first hired about half a dozen years ago, he articulated this possible role the Library could be playing. While we have not actually achieved anything concrete with that vision to this point, I have always thought that our authority data could provide a lot of support.

New “LAUC Connect” program (2018) Overview In order to foster increased interaction among LAUC librarians, I propose a program that will connect LAUC librarians from across campuses. The program will provide opportunities for sharing ideas and information, collaborating on research and professional activities, and mentorship. --Carla Arbagey, LAUC President

Discussion Questions Does it look like the data could support the purpose of the new LAUC Connect program? Does it seem feasible and practical to establish our LAUC members in LCNAF?
