A Note from the Teacher ELA: Close Reading is a new tool that we will use in which we read an article many times focusing on different aspects of comprehension each time. Math: Not only are we reading numbers with 6 digits, we are comparing them! Science: Time to start creating some experiments! Social Studies: Which dwelling would you choose to make: a wigwam, longhouse, or teepee? You’ll get to help pick! Religion: What prayers do we already know? I can’t get over how awesome this class is! We have welcomed 2 Canisius Literacy students: Ms. Menz, and Ms. Lowe. Progress reports are being mailed on Friday 10/14. Please let me know if you do not receive one. Homework reminder We have started reading Love That Dog and exploring parts of poetry. Find your favorite poems and share them with your kids!
