Basic Concepts of Vowels 1.音素(phoneme):发音的最小单位。英语中有48个音素。 2.元音(vowel):构成音节的主要音素。发音时口腔中气流不受阻碍,声带振动。英语中总共有20个元音。 3.单元音(monophthong):发音时,舌位、唇形、开口度始终不变的元音。
