First the surrounding area of the old runway was cleared and scraped.

The ground asphalt was then smoothened out.

The runway was then graded to the level of the survey stakes.

After the taxiways and the edge of the runway down we can start leveling out the edges. After the taxiways and the edge of the runway were down we can start leveling out the edges.

With the runway work complete, the outlying area was smoothened and rolled.
