Aggressive Driving Behavior How to Avoid Aggressive Driving Behavior

Know where you’re going and give yourself extra time to get there Plan ahead Know where you’re going and give yourself extra time to get there

Give driving your full attention Don’t get distracted!

Don’t take frustration out on other drivers What did they do to you?

Remember… Driving is NOT a contest What is there to win?

Realize that you cannot control what other drivers do… You can only control how you REACT to them

Do NOT make eye contact with the other driver You don’t want to start trouble.

Don’t escalate the situation Do NOT retaliate! Don’t escalate the situation

Do NOT take it personally No one is out to get you…

Ask yourself… Is it worth it??? Think of the consequences…

Ask yourself… Could the other driver have made a mistake? Nobody’s perfect… Oops….

NEVER underestimate another driver You never know how crazy the other driver can be!
