LE VERBE ALLER Present tense of the irregular verb aller The verb aller (to go) is called an irregular verb because its forms follow an unpredictable pattern. It’s the only -er verb that is irregular. ALLER je vais tu vas il/elle/on va nous allons vous allez ils/elles vont

Usage of the verb ALLER Comment vas-tu? How are you? Nous allons au café. We’re going to the café. As you can see, the verb aller has more than one meaning. It can be used: 1) to talk about going somewhere. On va au café. We’re going to the café 2) to talk about how things are going in general. Ça va? How are things going? 3) to talk about someone’s health. Comment allez-vous? How are you? Je vais bien, merci. I’m fine, thanks.
