new products, services & processes KETmaritime - transfer of key enabling technologies (KETs) to the maritime sector A cooperative network of public and private organizations with scientific as well as industrial background, exchange experience in R&D, increase knowledge, identify good practices based on KETs new products, services & processes competitive, resilient, efficient and sustainable maritime industries

KETs relevance A priority for European industrial policy, potential to impact many aspects of the society The global market for KETs was estimated to be more than EUR 1 trillion by 2015 Provide the basis for transformation of the rather traditional maritime sector (especially SMEs) into a high value one, embracing novel market opportunities developed in a sustainable manner

KETmaritime Timeframe: November 2017 - February 2020 Total Budget: 988,510.40€ Activities / Outputs : AWARENESS: Create awareness about KETs in maritime industry (workshops, webinars, KET ‘user guides’) MAPPING: analysis of ‘KET’ R&D entities and projects, Analysis of the ecosystem (Industrial Users and Technology Transfer Analysis), 5 case studies – Provide Technology trends analysis FUTURE: Available funding, networks to support future uptake Develop < 4 Pilot Project Plans
