Community Announcements Sacraments Sunday Mass: 0830 at Aliamanu Military Reservation Chapel (AMR) 1100 at Main Post Chapel, Schofield Barracks (MPC) Child care is available during Sunday Mass and Religious Education. Daily Mass: 1200 at Soldiers Chapel on Monday & Wednesday (19 Dec last Mass) 1700 at AMR on Tuesday (11 Dec is last Mass until further notice) 0900 at AMR on Thursday (13 Dec is last Mass until further notice) Reconciliation: Reconciliation will be available at Soldier’s Chapel at 1230 on Wednesdays or at AMR on Thursdays at 0930 weekly. You can also make an appointment, please contact Fathers Joe, Jason or Sebastian via email. There will be no Reconciliation on Sunday’s by the presiding priest because they are spiritually preparing for Mass and often have to celebrate Mass at both chapel communities. Marriage: Please contact Father Joe or Father Jason at least six months prior to anticipated date of wedding. Mandatory Pre-Cana classes are required. Baptism: Bi-monthly celebrations. Next MPC Baptism Class: TBD Next AMR Baptism: 6 January during Mass Next MPC Baptism: 16 December at 1200 Community Announcements Community Advent Reconciliation Services will be at 1800 on 10 Dec at MPC, 11 Dec at JBPHH, and 12 Dec at AMR. AMR Christmas Eve Carols & Mass begins at 1630. Christmas Day Mass is at 1000. MPC Christmas Eve Carols & Vigil begins at 2200. Christmas Day Mass is at 1000. AMR and MPC currently do not have Religious Education Coordinators. The DRE is breaking up some duties to support our catechists for their weekly lessons. If you are interested in helping with classroom set up, making copies or recording attendance please contact Lauren Brown. AMR CWOC meets on Thursdays from 9:00-11:30 at AMR Chapel Center for Mass, brunch, fellowship and faith formation and is open to all women. An evening study meets from 1900-2030 in the activity room for those unable to make the day meeting. Our current study is Courageous Love. Childcare will be provided for the morning session. Last meeting is for the year is 13 Dec. We will resume 17 Jan. Our service projects will continue throughout the break, so please be on the lookout for that information. MPC CWOC would like to invite you to join our meetings, which are held Wednesdays from 0930-1130. Childcare is available at no cost, and children are also welcome in the meetings. This week we will have a special talk about Our Lady of Guadalupe. Our Christmas party will be on 19 December, before we break for Christmas and New Year’s celebrations. Classes are held weekly from 0945-1045 with various holidays and long weekends off. Any adult interested in learning more about the faith is welcome to join the Parent Faith Formation class once a month on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. The dates are: 01/06, 02/03, 03/03, 04/14, and 05/05. Family Night will be held on Tuesdays starting with Mass at 1700 at AMR. Family Night will be held on Wednesdays at 1800 at MPC. Family Night programs will include dinner followed by religious education curriculum and methods that will allow your family to explore and practice your faith together in as a family.
