2- Why neotex monastir technopark IS LOCATED IN MONASTIR REGION ? Proximity to an industrial hub: Monastir region is a traditional cluster for Textile and Clothing sector in Tunisia Approximately 40% of T & C companies in Tunisia chose the region of Monastir (with more than 35 nationalities and international brands ). Proximity to skilled and qualified labor (university, R&D institutes, training centers…) Logistic facilities (Monastir airport and Sousse seaport). Pleasant environment: (50 hotels, 3 Golf courses, 2 gyms, tennis club, swim pool, 3 diving clubs, soccer stadium)

3- neotex monastir technopark : TEXTILE hub valley Establishment of a Neotex Technopark in Monastir region in order to : Promote textile value added activities (i.e: technical textile, new fibers and materials, fashion, design, logistics, ITC technologies…) Reinforce the integration of the local textile value chain by developing finishing and dyeing activities Boost cluster initiatives, develop skills and enhance collaboration between research and industry

Best Practices : Reaching competitiveness by networking and clustering So far The network, In'Tex, led by mfcpole, includes more than 92 partners, including 20 international partners Most Project implemented during last 4 years : Organization of more then 30 Market / Technology workshops ,and Training days ( two event per trimester ) . Support of 4 projects Spin off ( assistance from R&D stage o industrial implementation)  Set up of 3 R & D national project and partnership with 3 relevant International projects:  TEXTECHMed ( June 2010 , 12 months, 200 K € funded by Invest in Med , Mediterranean platform of technical textiles )  SUSTEXNET (January 2014.24 months , 1.3 k€ , ENPI CBCMED ), TEXMED Clusters ( Dec 2013, 24 months , 2000 k € )  And Several National projects as : Publication of Technical Textile directory (160 )Cs, the Set up of Tunisia Technical Textile Cluster ( 22 TT companies, 2 universities, 3 R&D centers) Establishing a pilot program to support for exporting TT companies ( March 2014 , 24 months, $ 300K funded by the ITC Project ) Establishment of a web platform for watch and economic intelligence in T&C Field (June 2013- May 2014 : Make available for companies techno, market and innovation News & Studies) Collaboration with European partners TEXTILE 2020 project, IESC ( to approach the German T&C Market),… 8
