Summarize the reading passage Basic structure: story + lesson

One possible version: Common as the clay was, it had wonderful dreams about playing a great part in the world. But having suffered a great deal, the clay finally became a common flower-pot, which made it depressed and ignorant. Luckily, after a long-time wait, the clay was placed in a great church, and worshipped by many people with a royal lily in it. The story tells us that with patience and pain, we will certainly realize our dreams one day.
