Is the Ripple Effect a positive or a negative concept. Explain Is the Ripple Effect a positive or a negative concept? Explain. Be prepared to share your opinion with the class.

A Sample Ripple Effect Watch the Fresh Prince episode “Hilary Gets a Life” (Season 2, episode 14). Make a web to show the ripple effects of Will’s lies. Begin with the “water droplet” of: On his dating application Will Lies On Hilary’s resume

Build your previous argument Consider all of the impacts of Will’s lies. Were all of them negative? To what degree were people inconvenienced or hurt because of them? What impact did it have on each character and Will in the end? Use examples and ideas from the show to build your previous argument for “Is the Ripple Effect a positive or a negative concept?”

Formative Assessment Join together with others arguing the same viewpoint. Present argument to the class. Rubric: Clear opinion stated Thoughtful and reasonable support for position Has considered other positions and addressed them Closes the argument well
